Stegbar has been helping Australians build their dream homes for over 80 years. When you choose Stegbar for your home you can rest assured in the knowledge that our products are built to last with quality components.
By following our care and maintenance instructions your windows and doors are covered by warranty for 10 years, wardrobes and showerscreens are covered for 7 years.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
What's covered
The Stegbar warranty is a commitment to our customers that:
- All goods will be free from defects arising from faulty workmanship or materials
- All Stegbar services will be rendered with due care and skill
- This applies to all goods and services purchased from Stegbar since 1st March 2024
- If you purchased prior to this date different warranty conditions may apply
What's excluded
Our generous warranty terms reflect our confidence in the quality of Stegbar products and services. To guarantee the longevity of your Stegbar products, the warranty requires that care and maintenance instructions are followed, and the following exclusions apply:
- Products that are not maintained and cared for in line with Stegbar instructions
- General wear and tear
- Defects caused by misuse, abuse or neglect
- Goods not installed to our instruction advice
- Goods installed outside of Australian building standards or standard building practices
- Defects caused by transportation not carried out by Stegbar
- Product servicing which is not carried out by Stegbar
- Modification of goods
- Any abnormal stress imposed on the Goods due to coastal conditions, salt spray, corrosive chemicals, acid rain, extreme heat and/or humidity, excessive vibration or movements of buildings or foundations
